Volunteers Review
Shreoshi Dutta Organisation/ Institute:- National Law School India University |
The work that Samata is doing with the tribal in the Araku valley is commendable. And, also the engagement with other non-governmental organization in trying to address burning issues across the country is noteworthy. Samata should be working on its outreach program to the youth of the country. There are quite a number of young people who would like to be involved with the organization's brilliant work but due to lack of awareness of the work that the NGO does, many of these youngsters are not being able to contribute. The organization website and facebook page has to be robust in terms of networking. |
Bhaskar Simha L N Organisation/ Institute:- National Law School of India University |
This field work was life time experience for me. I had the best time of my life, learning things which I couldn't have learnt anywhere else. Policy practitioners must tie up with organisation like SAMATA for a better understanding of the ground realities. the kind of work done SAMATA makes easier to take up further study and work. |
